I was thinking about a home in a hot climate.
Lots of windows.
No attic space to retain heat.
The huge floating roof provides shade without restricting airflow.
The "chimney" is a solar chimney to draw air through the living spaces.
I thought that the solar chimney would be a perfect blank space to display the address in huge Googie style numbers.
Eye-searing neon, swooshes, and star shapes. Break-up that serious facade with a little fun. Give the neighbors a reason to hate me.
